Virgin of the Cloister Another very important element of the celebration is the religious and historical symbol that the virgin represents. She is also one of the most important icons of the universal Romanesque art. The celebration is dedicated to this virgin and there are documents from medieval times that state that the virgin was known around the world. Pope XII proclaimed her patron virgin of the city and she was considered to be one of the most important virgins of Catalonia. |
