Manel Casserras legacy Our folkloric elements would not be the same if it had not been for the local artist Manel Casserras, who preserved them for 40 years. After beginning with the giants in Solsona, Casserras extended the popularity of giants overseas as far as Japan. Nowadays the Casserras workshop has become one of the most well-known centres for giant making for the artistic quality as well as for being in Solsona, a town with a long tradition of giants in Catalonia. |
