The  mule (Mulassa)

The present mule is a copy from the one in 1691. It is important for being the only one of this type that has a knight riding it in the Iberian Peninsula. This is more typical in France. In Solsona the cavalier is called Antoniu Ricu and according to tradition he went to America to make money and came back after making a fortune. This figure takes part in the fire wheel and the procession around the streets with fire crackers.
